In a recent interview with Jurassic Park IV Producer Frank Marshall in which he was promoting his already released film; Eight Below, the interviewer asked about his other upcoming films including Jurassic Park IV, Marshalls answer was that he hopes to get a Director for the film by next year, to read exactly what was said, look below:
"FM: My next project is going to be "The Bourne Ultimatum", which is the third in the series of Jason Bourne movies. We're gonna start shooting that in August. Then we have the ever-present "Indiana Jones 4". We're still working on the script, we want it to be great, and I suspect we're probably going to be shooting that next year. "Jurassic Park IV" is the same case, we're working on the script and hope to have a director on that by next year. My next project as a director will be the Lance Armstrong story called "It's Not About the Bike" based on his book, and we hope to start that next Spring."
Well, let's hope they find a Director soon and get this show on the road! To read the full article, click here.

Well, if you haven't realized it yet, the previous posting was an April Fool's Day joke on our end. My apologies to those who actually believed it. We were only keeping with the time honored tradition of prankstering on the first of April. So in reality, I'm not going anywhere. Just making this clear, that's all. ;)
I am stepping down

Over the course of the last couple of months I have seen this site grow at an alarming rate. It's touched my heart and made me happy we have so many of you browsing this site on a day-to-day basis and watching the site and forum grow from it's early and underdog beginnings.
So, here is some news and why I say for a brief time I am stepping down from my position as webmaster of Jurassic Park Legacy. I have a lot going on in my life right now, mostly I need some time to myself. I am in talks with Universal to become the continuity supervisor for the next Jurassic Park film and cocurrently re-produce the Enyclopedia in book form. It is to be tied in with the release of the fourth film and I have been assured that I will have access to whatever information I want or need.
Well, until JP4 is over and the Encyclopedia is published, I must step down from the site as webmaster and focus on my other work. I give the keys to the site over to AlphaChaosRaptor and Tyrannosaurus Matt.
So in closing I bid you all farwell and I wish you all a happy April Fool's Day.
If the above was a bit too subtle, well, APRIL FOOLS! Just keeping with the time honored tradition of pulling pranks on the first day of April.
