Scheduled to be in Phase II of IOA
Type: Ground Ride
Ride Time: Unknown
This was the fabled "T-Rex versus the Jeep” ride. The Jeep Safari Ride has apparently been in construction plans since Islands of Adventure opened. It was rumored to be in phase two of development of IOA in the summer of 2001, but this was just a rumor and nothing more. The ride itself was going to cost Universal $200 million in the end. Unfortunately, this exciting ride is believed to be scrapped, but numerous concept art images for it can still be seen. There were some rumors not too long ago that Universal was revisiting the idea for this ride, probably in anticipation of Jurassic Park IV. All we can do is cross our fingers and hope that we will get to see this exciting attraction.
